I still have DirecTV at my office, but even though they are about 95% the same, I agree that DirecTV is better if that's what you mean. I had lived with it from 94 until about 2 years ago so I am probably biased, but yes Dish is fucking horrible and I'm not really sure why.

They bribed me with a free dual tuner HD DVR, other receivers and some decent non-standard, programming discounts. The shit will be canceled soon now that the contract is up.

Dish Network is still much better than cable folks.
