if you would have done this a few nights ago i wouldnt have had to start this thread over at boris
so now that there is no more fulltilt poker i cant bumblehunt euros on hu nl small mid stakes. there isa charity casino in the place i live as well as in many many many places in the state of michigan the last few years. most of the usual characters i remember from a year ish ago when i used to frequent. but due to the fact it is the first week of the month i knew the place would be pretty ripe for the picking. i am sleepwalking through these sessions. this is a typical hand. full ring, 1/2 nl, min 30 max 200. mostly it is people buying in for 40 to 80. typical hand - limped 6 ways out of 10.commonly limped hands - ak, 99, qq, ace strong, every mid or small pair, it is fucking ridiculous. i am limping with anything in late position, not getting punished at all by a button or a blind, and hitting a huge flop and getting paid off by an overpair. this is some of the easiest live poker i have ever seen. i am not sure if playign online has really honed my bone or if these guys actually got worse in the last year/year + half since i have played there.
also there is some chick who works there who is probably 19-20ish, has a sick sick ass for a skinny white chick, beautiful face, which means she probably has at least 1 kid and has a ged. so youre saying theres a chance...
one of the guys that remembers me from before - he reraises me pre out of position, some other guy is between us. i have 66. i always remember empiremakers advice (no joke) that a set in an unraised pot is a WEAKSAUCE POT. so fucking true. so i make it like 7 with the 66, this guy is in the bb and he makes it 18 ish. this guy is a homegame hero and his range is pretty wide. it becomes an easy hand when the flop comes down j 2 4 or something like that, 2 diamonds 1 heart, and the guy immediately checks. i bet, 3rd guy folds, homegame calls. same thing on turn check call, no help for me, harmless card like an 8, river he bets out, now the 3rd diamond has hit, and i am not putting him on a flush draw here at all. if he had a diamond draw he would have c bet on flop 90%. so i make a funny face and look at him and really am wondering if 66 is good and i ask him DID THE RIVER HELP YOU? he goes what? he is looking down kind of sad or scared looking.. so obviously i think i am good. i ask him again, and he quickly sticks out his left arm and points at the bet he made, which i think was like 25 or 30, for the size of the pot it was a decent bet, and as soon as he pointed at the chips i instacalled. now looking back on this, i definitely should have hesitated and acted like he didnt just completely give away his hand, which was aq high no pair. next time i am grilling him he is going to intentionally point at a bet when he actually has the nuts. am i rite? or am i giving this tool too much credit?
seriously that chicks ass is amazing
jiveturkeyfuckingfool i want your inputs on this specifically
