question for jack and other jet setting travellers
looking for a flight from adelaide to auckland in mid march. any particular search engine do you recommend ie webjet/iwantthatflight and do you book 3-4 months in advance or gamble up and hope for a cheap seat closer to the date. atm im thinking air new zealand direct is the most convenient and hassle free option. im very much the anti-balla so a 250 buckaroo difference would be a deal breaker/maker.
i never bother with any search engines. i go to a travel agent and ask them what is the cheapest flight they can find for me . when they find the best price i ask them what airline it is. then i go home and book it myself direct from that airlines website so i dont have to pay the travel agents comission. also its always worth booking as much in advance as you can get away with.
